If you read this blog on a regular basis, thank you and apologies for the long gap between posts. And if you are ever curious about us, we are a quick text or call away (if you know us that way)!

- Two flat trailer tires at the SAME TIME
- Outer Banks fun
- Hurricane evacuation
- Wolfman Jack’s gravesite (on the side of a road)
- Dog bite (just actually HOLD the leash, that’s all!)
- Train ride through the Smoky Mountains
- Bluegrass awards in in Chattanooga
- Minor league baseball wherever we found it

- Earl Scruggs Center in Shelby, NC (amazing)

- Franklin Mountains & Hueco Tanks
- Museums of all types
- First-time being just a few feet from “the wall,” hearing first-hand accounts of borderland issues and seeing highway signs that say, “Watch for Unexpected Pedestrians”
Future Plans
We are meandering back to Washington with some cool stops along the way to volunteer and visit some bucket list places. Weekly blog posts are the goal!
Catio Corner
We have so, so many loud grackles visiting us each day that we are fresh out of ideas on how to prepare them for a meal. They don’t know that we daydream like that, but we do…oh, we do! Mwah, ha, ha, ha…
